Pico de Turbón
Pico de Turbón is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.052m (6,732ft) above the sea level, located in the county of Ribagorza, in the province of Huesca, in Aragon, Spain.
The road to the summit, located in the Pre-Pyrenees mountain range, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. At the summit there’s a mountain refuge called Refugio del Turbón. The road is usually impassable from October to June (weather permitting). Great trail for experienced wheelers. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 vehicle required. Expect a trail pretty steep with some hairpin turns. Thunderstorm activity can quickly change unpaved roads to four-wheel-drive condition or make them impassable. In mid summer the area can reach very high temperatures.
