Mirador del Gresolet

Mirador del Gresolet is a high mountain natural lookout at an elevation of 1.575m (5,167ft) above the sea level, located in the Pre-Pyrenees, in the comarca of Berguedà, in Catalonia, northern Spain.

The road to the viewpoint, within the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, is asphalted. It’s called Carretera del Mirador de Gresolet. It’s pretty narrow and steep. Do not travel this road in severe weather conditions. Avalanches, heavy snowfalls and landslides can occur anytime, being extremely dangerous due to frequent patches of ice. Starting from Saldes, the ascent to the lookout which looks down into the Gresolet valley, is 4.5 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 326 meters. The average percentage is 7.24 %. The maximum slope is 9%.
