A narrow paved road to the summit of Col de Méhatché

Col de Méhatché is an international mountain pass at an elevation of 716m (2,349ft) above the sea level, located on the Spanish-French border, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques.

The road to the summit is asphalted but extremely narrow and steep. It can be closed anytime because the snow. Starting from Itxassou, the ascent is 11.4 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 656 meters. The average percentage is 5.8 %.
