Alto Mirador de Veixia

Alto Mirador de Veixia is a mountain pass at an elevation of 600m (1,968ft) above the sea level located in the province of A Coruña in the autonomous community of Galicia in northwestern Spain.

The road to the summit is asphalted. It’s called DP-2205. It’s narrow and steep. The climb is nominally 11.2km at 4.8%, but in reality it is split in two. The first part is roughly 6.7km at 6%, before a slight descent and then the last 4km average 7%.

At the summit there’s a natural lookout called Mirador Vixía da Herbeira on the cliffs of the Costa Artabra. Expect high winds at the summit. It has been featured in Spanish Vuelta race.
