Puerto de Piqueras
Puerto de Piqueras is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.710m (5,610ft) above the sea level, located in the La Rioja region of northern Spain.

The road to the summit is asphalted and very steep, with countless hairpin turns. The climb has been bypassed by a tunnel. It is subject to winter snowfalls with such a high summit altitude, and the road can be closed anytime when the access is not cleared of snow.
