Puerto de Montenegro
Puerto de Montenegro, also known as Puerto de las Viniegras, is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.582m (5,190ft) above the sea level, located in the midst of the Iberian System mountains, on the border between the provinces of La Rioja and Soria, in Spain.
The road to the summit is called LR333. It’s pretty steep, with sections up to 10%. The road is in reasonable condition; it is fully asphalted but is quite a bumpy surface. There is little traffic on the climb. Expect short-term closures due to snow which is fairly common in winter.
