Road trip guide: Conquering the Besurta Refuge
Refugio de la Besurta is a high mountain refuge at an elevation of 1.920m (6,299 ft) above the sea level, located in the comarca of Ribagorza, province of Huesca, in northern Spain.
Located in the Benasque Valley, within the Parc Natural de Pocets-Maladeta, in the heart of the Pyrenees, the road to the refuge is paved but pretty narrow. It’s usually impassable in winters.
