Alto de Valdelinares

Valdelinares is a high mountain town at an elevation of 1.690m (5,540ft) above the sea level, located in the Sierra de Gúdar range of the Sistema Ibérico, in the province of Teruel, Aragon, Spain. It’s the highest town in Peninsular Spain.

The road to reach the town is asphalted. It’s called TE-V-3 and includes some steep sections, without market central lines.
The town has been climbed by the Spanish Vuelta bicycle race. Starting from Mora de Rubielos, the ascent is 27.4 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gains is 944 meters. The average percentage is 3.4 %.
