Tucked away in the southern part of the Tramuntana Mountains, the road is totally paved. It’s 9.8 km (6.08 miles) long running south north from Puigpunyent to Esporles.

The short mountain road has 23 hairpin turns. It’s prone to rock slides and extremely narrow. Not recommended if you don’t know to reverse, especially on the tight hairpin bends. The road climbs up to Coll es Grau, a mountain pass at an elevation of 474m (1,555ft) above the sea level. It’s pretty steep in parts, hitting a 10% of maximum gradient through some of the ramps.
