Take An Unforgettable Drive to Mirador del Naranjo de Bulnes
Mirador del Naranjo de Bulnes is a viewpoint at an elevation of 462m (1,515ft) above the sea level, located in the Principality of Asturias, a region of northwest Spain.
Set high in the Picos de Europa mountain range, the road to the lookout, also known as Mirador del Urriellu, is totally paved. The road is extremely narrow and features 11 hairpin turns.
Tucked away in the northern part of the country, the viewpoint offers great views over the Naranjo de Bulnes peak. The road is extremely steep, hitting a 38% of maximum gradient through some of the ramps. Starting at the paved AS-264 road, the ascent is 1.7 km (1.05 miles) long. Over this distance the elevation gain is 244 meters. The average gradient is 14.35%.
