B873 is a very scenic road located in Sutherland, in the Highland region of northern Scotland, running alongside Naver lake.
The scenic road is extremely narrow and challenging. It’s a single lane road impassable for 2 medium cars. Not recommended if you don't know how to reverse. You’ll hardly ever meet another vehicle. It’s a desolate road fairly flat.
It’s totally paved and subject to flooding on the very shores of Loch Naver. The lake is 10 km (6 mi) long and 33 m (108 ft) deep. The road is 18.34km (11.4 miles) long running east-west from Syre (B871 Road) to Altnaharra (A836 Road).
