The road ends on the islet of Kåja, located just offshore of Torsvåg. Open to traffic throughout the year. May be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad.
The road is asphalted with some narrow parts, running on the shore of the sea. Located on the idyllic and serene Vannøy island driving conditions on some stretches are really tough in winters. The very quiet road runs through several towns of the island. From late May into early August the sun never sets and you enjoy 24 hours daylight.
