Jotunheimvegen

Jotunheimvegen is a very scenic mountain road located in Innlandet, in southern Norway. It’s a great road with fantastic views.

The toll road is gravel in very good condition. It’s 45 kilometres (28 mi) long through Jotunheimen, a mountainous area part of the Scandinavian Mountains. From the road you can enjoy stunning views across large lakes and toward spectacular mountain peaks.

The road usually opens from the end of June to October depending on weather and snow conditions. Cars pay around 100kr toll; motorcycles travel for free. The road links Fv255 (on Skåbu, the highest permanently inhabited village in northern Europe) and Fv51 roads.
