Monte Cuzzo
Monte Cuzzo is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.503m (8,211ft) above the sea level, located in South Tyrol in northern Italy.
Located on the border of the Zillertal Alps and the Western Tauern Alps, the road to the summit, also known as Gitschberg, is rocky and gravel. It’s a chairlift access trail with some sections up to 30%. This trail can be done only a very narrow time-frame in the summer (end of August). The wind is usually quite strong at mountain areas. High winds blow here all year long. The journey offers a breathtaking panoramic view.
