Col Toront
Col Toront is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 1.615m (5,298ft) above the sea level, located in the Veneto region of northern Italy. The elevation gain is 1.321 meters. The average gradient is 7.33%, with sections up to 16%.
The road to the summit, located within the National Park of the Belluno Dolomites, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. The road is usually impassable from October to June (weather permitting). At the summit there are some facilities, a mountain refuge and communication towers.
4x4 vehicle required. Due to the high elevations and exposure, the road is subject to strong winds and rapid weather changes. Be prepared for the cold and wind! High winds blow here all year long. Expect a trail pretty steep. Starting from Revine, at 294 meters above the sea level, the ascent is 18.0 km long. Over this distance the elevation gain is 1.321 meters. The average gradient is 7.33%, with sections up to 16%.
