Strada degli Alpini

There are sheer drops virtually along the entire route and enough hairpins to make a whirling dervish dizzy. This route is not recommended if your passengers are prone to car sickness.
The drive is pretty steep. Starting from Strada Provinciale 26, at an elevation of 267m above the sea level, the ascent is 6.7km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 809 meters. The average gradient is 12,07%, with some sections up to 20%.
