The peak is located north of Gavia Pass, in the Italian region of Lombardy, in the northern part of the country, within the Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio.

How long is the road to Monte Sobretta?

The road is a chairlift access trail. It’s totally unpaved, rough, and very steep. A 4x4 vehicle is required. Starting from Strada Provinciale 29, the ascent is 5 km (3.10 miles) long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 748 meters. The average gradient is 14.96%.
