Dal Piaz Refuge
Rifugio Dal Piaz is a high mountain shelter at an elevation of 1.993m (6,538ft) above the sea level, located in the province of Belluno in Veneto, northern Italy.
The rough track to the refuge is gravel, very steep, with some extremely narrow sections. It’s located within the Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi. In many places this old military road is bordered by a drop of hundreds of meters (many hundreds of feet) unprotected by guardrails. Some people find this track just too daunting. The last part of the road is closed to motor vehicles.
