Salvatore Citelli Refuge
Rifugio Salvatore Citelli is a high mountain refuge at an elevation of 1.742m (5,715ft) above the sea level, located in the Province of Catania in the Italian region Sicily.
The road to the hut is asphalted, with some steep sections, up to 13.0%. The road can be closed anytime because the volcanic activity in this area is unpredictable. The hut is the base point for many excursions on Mount Etna east flank.
