The road to the summit is asphalted. It’s called Strada Provinciale 65 and links Triora (NO) and Pigna (SW). The road is narrow and pretty steep, with sections up to 11.4%. There is no higher paved pass, closer to the Mediterranean coast around the San Remo area, and it is a very popular ride.
