A 4x4 track to Forcella d’Entova
Forcella d’Entova is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.738m (8,985ft) above the sea level, located in the province of Sondrio, region Lombardia, in Italy. It's one of the highest roads of Europe.
The road to the summit is extreme. Only 4x4 with high clearance. It’s very narrow, with deep washouts and loose gravel. The maximum gradients reach up to 20%. It's one of the highest roads of the country.
The road is closed by a barrier. The road gets worse progressively, with stones, rocks and landslides. Impassable from September to June. The road was built for a ski station that was never constructed. There are several mountain refuges near the summit. This track can get very muddy and slippery after rain.
