Driving the unused road from Cancelli to Fossato di Vico
Strada Cancelli-Fossato di Vico is a short mountain road located on the boundary between Perugia and Ancona provinces, in central Italy.
The road is totally paved. It’s 9.6km (5.96 miles) long, running east-west from Cancelli, a small town of the Ancona province in the Italian region of the Marche to Fossato di Vico, a comune of Umbria in the province of Perugia.
The road features many curves and hairpin turns. This old road was bypassed by the Strata Statale 76. The road is abandoned: even if formally still open to traffic, nobody drives there anymore. The speed limit is 50 km/h.
