A scenic paved road to Sella Nevea Pass
Passo Sella Nevea is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.187m (3,894ft) above the sea level, located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeast Italy.
The narrow curvy road to the summit is totally paved. It’s called Strada Provinciale 76 and links Chiusaforte (W) and Cave del Predil (O). The surface is fair, with an average amount of repairs. There are some tight hairpins, but not too many and watch out for the usual Italian road design of hairpins in the 3 or 4 unlit tunnels.
Starting from Chiusaforte, ponte sul Fella, the ascent is 17.84 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 779 meters. The average percentage is 4.4 %.
