Monte Campomolon is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 1.848m (6,062ft) above the sea level, located in Veneto, a northeastern Italian region.

Monte Campomolon

Set high in the Venetian Alps, a mountain range in the south-eastern part of the Alps in the north-eastern part of the country, the summit hosts a fort called Forte Campomolon, built in 1914, during WWI. The summit offers one of the most impressive landscapes of Basso Trentino.

The road to the summit is totally unpaved and very narrow. It is closed to private motor vehicles. Starting from Passo Valbona, the road is 1.7km (1.05 miles) long. Over this distance the elevation gain is 68 meters and the average gradient is 4%, hitting a 17.1% through some of the ramps.
