A very narrow road to Colle del Vallonetto
Colle del Vallonetto is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.439m (8,001ft) above the sea level, located in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont.
Nestled in the Cottian Alps, the road to the summit is totally paved but rough and extremely narrow. Be careful: this road is not for the sissies. Some parts are impassable for 2 cars at the same time. The road is usually closed from October to June (weather permitting).
The road to the pass is 40.6 km long, running north-south from Marmora to Demonte. The pass is located between the Colle Fauniera and the Colle d’Esischie.
