Where is Ennisháls Pass?
The pass is located in the Northwestern Region in northwest Iceland. At the summit there’s a communication tower. The summit offers a magnificient view over Broddanes and the Húnaflói Bay.
Is Ennisháls Pass paved?
The road to the summit is mostly unpaved: only a short part at its southern side is fully paved. It’s called Road 68. It’s pretty wide, in good condition. It’s suitable for most of passenger vehicles. The road is very steep (up to 12%).
How long is Ennisháls Pass?
The pass is 79km long, running south-north from Borðeyri to Stóra Fjarðarhorn.
