Located on the north-west coast of Akarnania, in Aetolia-Acarnania, Central Greece, the Mytikas-Palairos road is one of the most scenic coastal drives of the country.
The fascinating road is asphalted in good conditions. The drive hugs the coast with a precipitous drop to the sea. It’s pretty lonely. The road faces the Ionian Sea and the serene islands of Kalamos and Kastos.
The road is 14.7 km long and runs south-north, linking the villages of Mytikas and Palairos running, at the western foot of the Acarnanian Mountains.
