Le Petit Cordeil is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 1.768m (5,800ft) above the sea level, located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in southeastern France. The average gradient is 8.98%.
The road to the summit, located in the Provence Alps and Prealps mountain range, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 vehicle recommended. Expect a trail pretty steep. Starting from D2 road, nearThorame-Basse, at 1.121m above the sea level, the ascent is 7.2 km long. Over this distance the elevation gain is 647 meters. The average gradient is 8.98%. It’s one of the most popular paragliding sites in the area.
