Balcon du Bozelet
Balcon du Bozelet is a high mountain restaurant at an elevation of 2.411m (7,910ft) above the sea level, located in the Graian Alps, in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France.
The road to the summit, located in the northern part of the Vanoise National Park, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. The road is usually impassable from October to June (weather permitting). Even in summer you can confront with snowy days. Temperatures here in the winter are brutally cold. Great trail for experienced wheelers. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 vehicle recommended. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. The road to the summit is a ski-station service road pretty steep, with some sections up to 10%. The wind is usually quite strong at mountain areas. High winds blow here all year long. The summit offers stunning views.
