The road to the summit is totally unpaved, with loose gravel and rocks. It is a chairlift access trail. It’s a very steep drive. A 4x4 vehicle is required. It’s closed to private vehicles.

Starting from Arette la Pierre Saint-Martin, the road to the summit is 4 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 525 m and the average gradient is 13.12%.

Is the road to Col des Anies open year-round? 

Set high in the Pyrénées mountain range, the road is closed in winters. It’s usually open from June to October.
