The peak is located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in the southeastern part of the country, in the Valley of the Guisane.

Is the road to Col de l’Eychauda unpaved?

The road to the summit is totally unpaved. It’s a service road for the chairlifts. It comprises narrow parts and very steep sections. A 4x4 vehicle is required. It’s closed to private vehicles.

How long is the road to Col de l’Eychauda?

Starting from La Salle-les-Alpes, the road to the summit is 7.4km long. 

Is the road to Col de l’Eychauda open year-round?

Set high in the Massif des Cercesrange, the road is blocked by snow during winters. It’s usually open from June to September.
