Cugnai Lift

Cugnai Lift

Cugnai Lift is a chair lift for skiers at an elevation of 2.884m (9,471ft) above the sea level, located in the Savoie department of southeastern France. It's one of the highest roads of Europe.

The road to the summit, located within the Tarentaise Valley,  is gravel. Only 4x4. Impassable in winters. It's one of the highest roads of the country. The track to the summit includes several narrow and steep sections (up to 25%). It’s brutally tough with roughly sections, on very rocky, slippery path / ski piste at occasionally impossible steepness.
