Road D218
The Route Départementale D218 (RD218) is a very scenic road located in the Isère department in southeastern France.
The winfing mountain road, located within the Vercors Natural Regional Park, is paved. It’s 28km long running north-south from the village of Saint-Quentin-sur-Isère towards Autrans.
There’s a high risk of rock slides in some parts. The road is partially impassable as it runs through the infamous (and closed) Tunnel du Mortier. It tops out at 1.410m (4,625ft) above the sea level.
