Road D80

Located in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France, the D80 road is one of the most hairpinned roads in the world.

The road is 10.3km long and links the towns of Villargondran, at 700m above the sea level and Albiez-le-Jeune, at 1.367 masl on a 38 hairpin turns section. The surface of the road is asphalted. It’s pretty narrow and steep, with an average gradient of 7%, with several ramps over the 10%.
