
Mont Tauch
The Mont Tauch is a mountain pass at an elevation of 871m (2,857ft) above the sea level, located in the Aude department in southern France.
The road to the summit is asphalted, but pretty narrow and steep. Starting from Tuchan, the ascent is 8 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 729 meters. The average percentage is 9.1 % but the maximum slope is 20 %. At the summit there’s a communication tower.
