The pass is located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, in the southeastern part of the country.

Is the road to Col de l’Hysope paved?

The road to the summit is fully paved but very narrow, with countless turns, and steep sections, hitting a maximum gradient of 14.8% on some of the ramps. It’s called D3. If you’re afraid of narrow mountain roads, it's better to avoid it. Not recommended if you don't know how to reverse.

How long is Col de l’Hysope?

The pass is 26.9km (16.71 miles) long, running north-south from Authon to Champtercier. At the summit, there’s a fabulous natural viewpoint and a tiny parking lot.
