Col de Castellaras is a mountain pass at an elevation of 1.248m (4,094ft) above the sea level, located in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France.
The road to the summit is asphalted. It’s called D5 and is pretty steep. Starting from Pont du Loup, the ascent is 3.7 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 178 meters. The average percentage is 4.8 %. And starting from D 2, the ascent is 1.8 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 84 meters. The average percentage is 4.7 %.
