
Fort de Pattacreuse
Fort de Pattacreuse is a high mountain fortress at an elevation of 2.385m (7,824ft) above the sea level, located in the Savoie department in the Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France.
The road to the fortress is gravel and was built in 1891. There are several military constructions along the road. Impassable from September to June, the road was washed out over the years and is extremely bumpy.
