D84, a vertigo paved road in France
D84 is a short narrow mountain road located in the department of Aude, region Languedoc-Roussillon, in southern France. The road is not easy. Not recommended to newbies.
The road is 7.0 km long set in the beautiful, rough and unspoiled landscapes of the region. It runs north-south from D118 Road to D17 road, near the town of Escouloubre. The road can be very challenging if you are driving, with many sections too narrow for cars to pass and a strong chance you will need to reverse around a blind corner on a narrow road.
The road has some narrow parts, impassable for 2 medium cars. Not recommended if you don't know how to reverse. The road has a 3.7m height limit. High risk of rock slides.
