Rotmoosalm
Rotmoosalm is an alpine hut at an elevation of 2.037m (6,683ft) above the sea level, located in the beautiful Gais valley, in the district of Innsbruck-Land in the Austrian state of Tyrol.
Located within the Ammer Mountains, the road is gravel and pretty steep. Weather conditions can change quickly and be harsh. It is subject to winter snowfalls with such a high summit altitude, and it can be closed anytime when the access is not cleared of snow. 4x4 vehicle required. Attention pasture cattle.
