The pass is located in the western part of the country, near the iconic Zillertal High Alpine Road. At the summit there’s a hotel known as Wedelhütte ab Juli Bergsommer.

The road to the summit is totally unpaved and rocky. It’s a chairlift access trail. 4x4 vehicles only. The drive comprises many steep sections, turns and narrow parts. It’s closed to private transport.

Set high in the Austrian Alps, the road is totally impassable in winters.
