Klippitztörl Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.642m (5,387ft) above the sea level, located in the Austrian state of Carinthia.
How long is Klippitztörl Pass?
The road to the summit is totally paved. It’s called L91. The pass is 28.8 km (17.89 miles) long, running west-east from Mösel to Bad Sankt Leonhard im Lavanttal. Along the road, there are several hotels and rental chalets.
Is Klippitztörl Pass steep?
Set high in the Austrian Alps, the road to the summit is very steep, hitting a 12.30% of maximum gradient through some of the ramps. The last part on the east side is easy while the steep part is at the end on the west side.
