Where is Wildes Mannle?

The peak is located in the Ötztal Nature Park, on the western part of the country, near the Italian border, to the southwest of Sölden.

How long is the road to Wildes Mannle?

The road is entirely unpaved. It’s a chairlift service road. Starting from Vent, the road is 5.6 km (3.47 miles) long. It’s a very challenging drive, with 6 hairpin turns and very steep parts. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 656 m, and the average gradient is 11.71%. Due to the surface and the steepness, the road is for 4x4 vehicles only.

Is the road to Wildes Mannle open?

Set high in the Ötztal Alps, and surrounded by many mountains over 3,000 m, the road is usually impassable from October through June due to snow. It’s closed to private vehicles.
