Located in the eastern Pyrenees mountain range, the Principality of Andorra is a small mountainous country situated between France and Spain. The country consists predominantly of rugged mountains and it’s one of the highest countries in Europe with and average elevation of 1,996 metres (6,549 ft). 

Its capital Andorra la Vella is the highest capital city in Europe, at an elevation of 1,023 metres (3,356 ft) above sea level.
