The pass, also known as Coll de la Rabassa, is located in the southern part of the country, near the Spanish border.

Is Alt de la Rabassa paved?

The road to the summit is fully paved, yet curvy (with 18 hairpin turns) and very steep, hitting a 15.5% maximum gradient through some of the ramps. It is called Carretera de la Rabassa. The climb has been featured in the Spanish Vuelta a España race.
