Set high on the western part of the country, the road to the summit, labeled as road n° 207, is paved and in excellent condition. It connects the Slovenian Prealps with the Dinaric Alps, featuring a series of 7 sharp, challenging hairpin turns. The pass spans 16.2 km (10.06 miles), running from Col to Godovič.

Is the Godovič Pass worth visiting?

Near the summit is the Bunker Alpskega zidu, constructed during the Second World War as part of the Alpine fortress. It served as a defensive fortification. Today, visitors can explore the bunker and delve into the region's wartime history.
