609, a dirt road in the Trnovo Forest

609 is a dirt road located in western Slovenia, in the Trnovo Forest, above the Vipava Valley in the Gorizia region of the Slovene Littoral, with a length of 22.6km.

Lokve is a popular tourist center, serving as a summer resort for people from the towns of Nova Gorica and Gorizia (Italy). The surface of the road is asphalt, gravel and sand, and chains or snow tyres can be required anytime. The road links the villages of Lokve and Lokavec, and climbs up to Mala Lazna, a mountain pass at an elevation of 1.100m (3,608ft) above the sea level.
