Mount Mussa-Achitara is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 3.141m (10,305ft) above sea level, located in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, in Russia. It's one of the highest roads in Europe.

The road to the summit is totally unpaved and very rocky. It’s a chairlift access trail for the Dombai ski resort. A 4x4 vehicle is required.

Set high in the Caucasus Mountains, the road is totally impassable in winter. At the summit, you can feel the lack of oxygen in the rarefied air.
