The road through Buzau Pass, known as the DN10, meanders through the Buzău Mountains, a subrange of the Eastern Carpathians. Stretching for 21.8 km (13.54 miles) from Cașoca in the south to Crasna in the north, the road is fully paved, ensuring relatively smooth travel, although its curvy nature calls for attentive driving.
