An Unforgettable Drive to Ghimeș Pass in Romania

Pasul Ghimeș is a mountain pass at an elevation of 1.154m (3,786ft) above the sea level, located in Bacău County, Romania.

Set high in the Eastern Carpathians, the road to the pass is paved (bad conditions). It’s called DN12A.

The pass is 83.0 km (51.57 miles) long, running west-east from Miercurea Ciuc (Harghita County) to Comănești (in Bacău County).
